MDSI is a leading national provider of medical disability evaluations. We provide objective disability examinations of SSA. Each evaluation consists of a history and physical or mental exam including a brief record review and dictation. You must currently be licensed and in good standing with the state medical board. There is no treating, prescribing or follow-up You will not be making the decision as to whether a claimant is disabled or not only offering your opinion based on your objective examination There are no overhead costs to you as you would perform all examinations in our offices, utilize our staff and have access to supplies. You will be part of our Physician Services Division where you will have support 7 days a week MDSI provides professional liability insurance that covers you as a physician providing exams for us Professional Dictation/Transcription services are provided to you for the completion of your reports Useful training materials will be sent to you and you will receive a through orientation prior to your first work day
You will be providing exams as an independent contractor. This means you will submit the dates you are available and we will work with those dates. Orthopedic practice in western New York is seeking a BC/BE orthopedic surgeon to join two other physicians. The busy practice performs many total joint replacements; all trauma cases are transferred to a tertiary care facility in Buffalo. Patients are admitted to a sixty-five bed facility. The group has two physician assistants, one nurse practitioner, and an RNFA. They are in the process of recruiting one additional PA. The call schedule will be one weekend per month 6a-6p

The community is located on Lake Erie with numerous beaches, and waterfront activities. This is a great place for boating enthusiasts as well as downhill skiers. Orthopedic Surgeon – Southwestern New York State

Excellent opportunity for a BC / BE orthopedic Surgeon. A completed fellowship in Sports medicine is a plus! You would be joining an existing hospital based practice. This practice serves a 72 bed community hospital that provides care to a three county area in southwestern New York state. There is one other physician and an orthopedic PA on staff. Call would be 1 in 3. Weekends and holidays to be decided upon acceptance of position.

Lucrative compensation package includes a base salary of $450K to $500K base on experience and fellowship. Relocation allowance, CME allowance, PTO, and 401(K) package included. Health and dental coverage, as well as malpractice coverage are also included.

The town is surrounded by wooded hills and fertile farmlands in a valley that is part of the Genesee River watershed.
